Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. How do I log a trip on my iPhone?
Open OdoFolio, tap the “+” button (or Add Trip tab), enter your starting and destination addresses (or tap Current Location for GPS autofill), enter your business purpose and expense classification, then tap Save Trip. When connected to the internet, it syncs immediately to the cloud.
2. Does the app work offline?
Yes. OdoFolio features full offline caching. If you are on the road without cell service, your trip is safely stored on your device and will automatically sync when connectivity returns.
3. How are reimbursement rates determined?
Reimbursement rates dynamically follow the official IRS standard mileage rate configured for the organization (currently updated for 2026). Administrators can adjust or lock dates in organizational settings.
4. How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen of either the mobile app or web platform, tap “Forgot password?” and enter your email address. You will receive a secure password reset link. Alternatively, visit mileage-map-generator.web.app/reset-password.
5. How do I delete my account and data?
You can permanently delete your account directly in the mobile app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing jcontreras@scholarship.org with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. Your profile and records will be purged within 30 business days.
6. How do I receive administrative notifications?
When prompted on iOS, allow notification permissions. You will receive alerts regarding important policy deadlines or administrative broadcasts. You can manage or disable permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → OdoFolio.
